The Items screen shows the list of items associated with the currently selected category, group, location, container, or action. The list can be sorted and/or filtered. You can perform bulk edits or deletions of items. Of course you can add new items or view summary information.

The title of the item list shows the name of the selected category, location, or action. If the list of items are for a specific group or container then its name is shown as a subtitle.

The list of items has a search field at the top. This is followed by all of the appropriate items. Depending on how the list is sorted you will see an index of letters down the right side. This works just like the standard Contacts app.

Each item is displayed using the defined Item Display format appropriate to each item. Items with any attachments will display the symbol before the item title. If an item is associated with a passcode protected category and the category's passcode has not yet been entered then no information for the item is displayed except for the category color dot.

If any date attributes associated with the item have an alarm then one of three different alarm icons will appear just before the item title.

At the bottom of the screen is a toolbar containing a set of actions that can be performed against the list of items.

If any filter or sort is applied to the item list then an indicator with the filter and/or sort name is displayed just above the toolbar.

If you have setup more than one database, the name of the current database appears at the top under the list name. A shared database will have a cloud icon ☁ before the name. If the shared database is read-only, it will have the ⊘ icon before the name.

View Item

Search Items

You can search for items using one of two methods. Either by entering search text or by barcode. To search by text simply enter the desired text into the search field and tap the Search button. You can further specify whether the entered text can be found anywhere in a value (Contains), at the start of a value (Prefix), or at the end of a value (Suffix). By tapping on the bookmarks icon to the right of the search field, which only appears when no text is entered, you can specify which attributes are searched.

To find an item by its barcode you must tap on the search field and then select the Barcode button. Either type in a barcode number or tap the barcode icon, which only appears when no text has been entered. Tapping the barcode icon brings up the usual barcode screen allowing you to scan a barcode or enter a barcode number. Any items originally entered via barcode will be searched for a matching barcode.
